Westbourne Academy became part of the Academy Transformation Trust in 2013 and currently has over 1,000 students on roll. For 2019/20, we are oversubscribed in Year 7 and this is predicted to continue. Westbourne Academy is one of the most improved academies in Suffolk.
Vacancy: Assistant Team Leader of English MPR-UPR TLR2B
Are you an excellent Teacher of English whose passion and subject knowledge inspires students and leads to strong outcomes? Do you share our belief that literacy is the foundation for a successful school and adult life? Are you looking to start your journey towards leadership in English and beyond?
At Westbourne, English is an improving subject with a progress 8 score close to national. We are seeking to build upon this foundation, and you will be central to exploring different approaches to curriculum and pedagogy.
